Playing Behind Slower (or with irritating) Players – Session

January 29, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

Every golf instructor worth his salt will tell you that rhythm and tempo are ultra important in creating a good scoring round…and I’m no exception. Sometimes, this is a challenge due to other players in your group, or from slow players ahead of you or just a slow day on the course where you have to wait for each shot. You know what happens then…you get antsy, anxious and you think too much.

I’ve got news for you…this is PART OF THE GAME and part of the challenge which is one of the main reasons why you play golf isn’t it? The challenge right? You want to get some learnings into your body that this is a good thing and that you can have an advantage over your competition in such circumstances. Fast players on tour get ruined when they have to slow down for others. After listening to this session a few times, you won’t have that problem any more…

Have at it, it’s a fun one!

Ok club members. This is for you. I put some special efforts into this session to help you create a “theatre of the mind” effect so that it can be more REAL to you. Allow your visions or thoughts to run with it. This is an interactive session where you will want to do some thought work when I call for it. Do the work! It’s very important. You cannot do it wrong and whatever you do is correct for you.

This session is classic “Parts Therapy” work that I do in my office. If you were in my office, we would do this type of work where you would actually talk to and answer me in hypnosis. You can do the same thing here as I have offered my guidance in the same way that I do in the office. We all have parts…when you can get to the point where you accept all of your parts and you don’t allow one part to totally control you, then, you can feel and perform any way you want. Most folks problems come from some sort of internal conflict. You can use this technique on your own in self hypnosis for anything. This is excellent for many other things in your life besides golf.

Overcoming Golf Fear – Training

January 10, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

Overactive fear is probably golfer’s biggest enemy. When I first read this, I thought to myself: “I don’t have any fears out there on the golf course. I get tense and nervous at times but not fearful.”  Well guess where that tension and nerves comes from? Generally speaking, it’s fear of failing or missing the putt or shot. Fear of choking and that CAUSES the tension or nervousness.  In this training, I’m going to give you SOLUTIONS to the CAUSES of the fear. In my office, I have had great success in working with golfers and other athletes using these tools you are now getting.  USE THEM!

The video is 42 min. long. You might want to take notes. At the bottom of the video is a little TV icon. If you click that, you will get this video full screen.
Greens and fairways,

Craig

At the end of the video training, I mentioned a concept about starting at the end and working your way backwards. I found a person, Pam Bowen, who can really give you some perspective on this to eliminate fear. After watching the video, listen to this interview below the video. It could be life-changing for you.
