Training #1 – Introduction to self hypnosis
There is so much misinformation about how to do self hypnosis and especially for golfers. The biggest problem with making this effective for you is in eliminating all of the beliefs about what you think self hypnosis is supposed to be like or how it should “feel.” The series of videos below are about the major points I cover in my office every day with my clients to first, set them up for how to hypnosis in general. And 2) How to do have a structure for doing it on your own that has been proven effective and very time efficient.
I call it my 1-minute light switch protocol. I have had a number of clients tell me that they are able to drop their blood pressure within a minute up to 20 points with this technique. As with most things we do, the more you do it, the better you get. Hypnosis is no different. Eventually, you can get to a point where you can drop into state very easily and without any formalities. I like to brag that I’m “in hypnosis” all of the time.
It’s a matter of taking the trance you already do and getting control of it. Remember this: the trance state isn’t even necessary for change. It is certainly helpful and can speed up the process but everybody is different and responds to programming of the unconscious (subconscious) mind in their own way.
